Happy Monday! I woke up this morning at 6:30 am. I have been sleeping in so much lately I have forgotten what it was like to wake up and start my day so early!
Waking up early is bittersweet. I am not at all a morning person, and I don't think that I ever will be, but I love having the morning to prepare myself for my day. I have already gotten so much done and it's only 8:45 am! I've always heard that the most successful people wake up early and take that time to do things for themselves. Whether it be yoga, reading, or even just taking their time getting ready.
Honestly, I don't know why I stopped. I use to have such a great routine. I would wake up, have a cup of tea, read a few pages of whatever book I was reading, do yoga at home, shower, get take my time getting ready, and then start my day. And let me tell you, those were the best mornings. I never felt rushed and I always felt proactive.
Starting today I am going to get back into my morning routine. I think it has been what I have been missing lately and I am so ready to make that change.
